Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), EUGAIN, in cooperation with the American Embassy in Estonia, organize two open webinars about cyber security and equality. The webinars will be conducted in English (45-60 minutes) in the framework of the mini-project Roadmap for Inclusive Cybersecurity, where cyber security experts from America will present.

At the meeting, we will hear his journey and choices, how he came to the human aspects of cyber security and why it can be the most important part of the field. Wayne Patterson has been working with Estonian experts since 2019. He is a former Howard University professor and head of the Cyber Security Center. He has published various research articles and books and carried out numerous research projects. The biggest step in the world in the context of our project is that it opened the way of cyber security to women by offering the opportunity to look at things through human aspects.
  • 19/12/2022 at 15:00 Will a Cybersecurity Mindset shift build and sustain a Cybersecurity Pipeline? Prof. Augustine Orgah. Augustine Orgah is Head of the Informatics Curriculum and Lecturer at the Institute of Physics and Informatics at Xavier University of Louisiana. In his lecture, Augustine presents how to build a cybersecurity journey in a university context that all learners can take part in, including minorities. The topics are cyber security education, recruitment into the sector and skill retention, which requires a change in mindsets in order to remain successful and sustainable in the cyber field.
