Virtual Mobility Grants

Virtual Mobility Grants provided financial support for Researchers or Innovators (with a primary affiliation to an institution located in a COST Full or Cooperating Member country or from a COST Near Neighbour Country). During 2020-2024, EUGAIN awarded 41 Virtual Mobility grants.

The Grantee could be any Action participant, and received compensation for organising, cooperation, collaborations in a virtual setting among researchers within the COST Action, to exchange knowledge, learn new techniques, convey a survey, etc.

STSM

Support individual mobility, at strengthening existing networks, and at fostering collaborations by allowing scientists to visit an institution or laboratory in another country.

Support Action participants to present the work of the Action in a high-level conference.

EUGAIN – European Network For Gender Balance in Informatics. Women are underrepresented in Informatics (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computing, ICT) at all levels, from undergraduate and graduate studies to participation and leadership in academia and industry. Increasing female representation in the field is a grand challenge for academics, policymakers, and society as a whole.
